The endless road, migrants of Central America

Thousands of migrants crossed from Honduras to Mexico during the third week of January as they made their way to the United States. Most of them came from Honduras, having begun their journey in San Pedro Sula on January 14. They call themselves a caravan, but for the most part they have been traveling in small groups. They entered Guatemala through the Agua Caliente border crossing on January 15. The next day, a group of around 200 Salvadorians also left en masse to México. Unlike the first and second caravans in October 2018, this group of migrants did not travel together as they entered Guatemala. Rather, they chose to procure rides from passing cars and other vehicles to proceed to their next destination in small groups.
