I'm a Guatemalan photojournalist. In the beginning I shot landscapes and still do. I've been a profesional photojournalist in 2014 and at the start of 2016 I launched with a friend the visual magazine www.comvite.com . My work is focused around migration, climate change, culture and traditions, news events and natural disasters. I documented the migrant caravans from 2018-2020 the expulsions from the US to the Guatemalan border in 2021. I also documented the Eta and Iota hurricane aftermath in 2020. In 2018 I covered the eruption of Fuego.

My photography work has been published in: Associated Press, EFE, AFP, NY Times, The Economist, Vice, Time Magazine.

I also contribute to the AP as a video maker.

I also work commercially for weddings, landscape, product, home decor and coffee.
